Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and HitRates LLC, which operates HitRates. By creating an account or using the service you accept them in full. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

HitRates is a research and entertainment tool. It shows historical sports statistics, hit rates, streaks, scores and schedules, alongside odds publicly posted by sportsbooks.

Every figure shown is a real sourced value. The service does not produce predictions, projections, simulations or model output of any kind — where a number cannot be sourced, nothing is shown in its place rather than an approximation being substituted.

HitRates is not a sportsbook. We accept no bets, hold no funds and offer no gambling services whatsoever. Where the service links out to a sportsbook, that sportsbook is an independent third party. Your relationship with it, and any money involved, is entirely between you and them. We do not control their odds, their availability or their conduct.

Sign-in is passwordless — either Google sign-in or a one-time link emailed to you. Anyone with access to your email inbox can sign in as you, so keep that inbox secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.

One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts to obtain repeat free trials is a breach of these terms, and the service detects and refuses it. We may suspend or terminate any account that abuses the service, the trial system or the infrastructure.

You may delete your account at any time from your account page.

• New accounts get one free 24-hour trial. One per person — not per email address.
• Paid plans are $20 per month or $200 per year.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the same price, until you cancel. Billing runs through Stripe.
• You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Payments already made are not refunded, including the unused remainder of a period, except where the law requires otherwise. If you think something has gone wrong with a charge, email us — we would rather sort it out than have you file a dispute.
• If we change prices, the change applies from your next renewal and we will tell you beforehand.

The underlying sports statistics are facts and belong to nobody. The compilation, selection, calculation and presentation of them on HitRates — the interface, the design system, the code and the wording — are ours, and may not be copied, scraped, resold or redistributed without permission.

League and team names, logos and marks belong to their respective owners and are used here only to identify the teams and competitions being described. HitRates is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any league, team or sportsbook.

Statistics come from public sources and odds come from sportsbooks via a data provider. We work hard to show only real, sourced values and never estimates. Even so, the service is provided as is: we do not warrant that anything here is accurate, complete or current. Sources can be wrong, late or unavailable, and odds move constantly.

Nothing on HitRates is betting advice, financial advice, or a recommendation to place any wager. Past performance does not predict future results. Every decision you make with this information is yours alone.

Sports betting is restricted or illegal in some places. It is your responsibility, not ours, to know and follow the laws of your own jurisdiction.

To the fullest extent the law allows, HitRates LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for any gambling losses, arising from your use of the service or from reliance on anything shown on it.

Our total liability to you, for any claim, will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

You must be at least 21 years old to hold an account or use the service. By signing in you confirm that you are. We may terminate any account we find to be held by someone under 21.

• Do not scrape, resell or redistribute the data.
• Do not attempt to bypass the paywall or access another user's account.
• Do not use automated tools that place undue load on the service.
• Do not share your account access with others.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes a consumer protection your local law gives you and does not allow to be waived.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page will change, and continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
